Magnolia Cemetery Beautification and Improvement Project

Magnolia Cemetery is 125 years old and is showing its age.

It was once a picturesque cemetery located in central Meridian, MS, on 23rd Avenue. Over 15,000 people have been laid to rest in Magnolia, including long-time Congressman G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery, singer-songwriter Paul Davis, and the Key brothers, to name a few. Likely, many of your own family and friends are buried there.

Our goal is to improve and beautify this historic cemetery through a fund at the Community Foundation of East MS. An advisory board has been created to guide this project that will predominately focus on road repairs in the cemetery. They will have oversight of the bid process for all work, and the community foundation will pay all associated bills from the money raised. All donations are tax-deductible.

You can make your tax-deductible donation online to the Magnolia Cemetery Beautification and Improvement Fund at this Community Foundation of East MS link: https://cfem.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=2772
