ROad Improvement Project at Magnolia Cemetery

The focus of this project has largely been to improve the roads throughout Magnolia Cemetery.  Falcon Contracting completed the second phase of major work on the roads on November 7, 2025.

Phase I, costing $195,000, patched and leveled the roads inside the cemetery.  Magnolia Cemetery owner, Jay Crane, was able to secure authorization from state regulators to use $100,000 from the cemetery's perpetual care fund to use exclusively for road repairs/resurfacing.  This was combined with $95,000 of money that has been raised through this effort.

The second phase installed the remaining patching and put two seal coats over all roads at a cost of $59,737.50.

If you want to be reminded how the roads looked before, just look at the drone footage below.  Also look at all the before and after pictures on that page of this website.
