ROad Improvement Project at Magnolia Cemetery

The focus of this project is to improve the roads throughout Magnolia Cemetery. Our best estimate in repairing/resurfacing roads throughout the cemetery is $465,883 (Falcon Contracting).  Phase I has recently been completed.

The project will be broken into two or three phases as money is raised.  Phase I cost  $195,000 and has patched and leveled the roads inside the cemetery.

Magnolia Cemetery owner, Jay Crane, was able to secure authorization from state regulators to use $100,000 from the cemetery's perpetual care fund to use exclusively for road repairs/resurfacing.  This, in combination with $95,000 of money that has been raised through this effort.

The next phase of road work would install the asphalt overlay at a cost of $266,000.

If you want to be reminded how the roads looked before, just look at the drone footage below.
