ROad Improvement Project at Magnolia Cemetery

The focus of this project is to improve the roads throughout Magnolia Cemetery.  Phase I has recently been completed by Falcon Contracting and it is a HUGE improvement!

Phase I cost  $195,000 and has patched and leveled the roads inside the cemetery.  Magnolia Cemetery owner, Jay Crane, was able to secure authorization from state regulators to use $100,000 from the cemetery's perpetual care fund to use exclusively for road repairs/resurfacing.  This, in combination with $95,000 of money that has been raised through this effort.

The next phase of road work will install two seal coats over all roads inside the cemetery at a cost of $49,612.50.  We would like to accomplish this by early October, 2025.  Ideally asphalt should be sealed 6 months after being put down to protect it.

If you want to be reminded how the roads looked before, just look at the drone footage below.
